20 Q’S WITH SACHA

1. Where are you from? I grew up in Santa Monica and Santa Barbara in Southern California.

2. Gold or silver? Gold!!

3. Favorite gemstone and why? Citrine 10000000%. Some might say I am obsessed. She is magic. Lately I have also become very called to Tanzanite and its profound energy to connect us to our highest intuition. It is quite incredible.

4. Piece of clothing or accessory you cannot live without? Is there a story behind it? My mom gave me a pair of her shoes to wear at my wedding. They are the perfect wooden wedge platforms, hand-embroidered...they go with everything and are so comfortable. I have worn them so much over the years that I have had them completely re-soled a few times! I seriously could not imagine my wardrobe without them. They have so much sentimental value and are literally the perfect shoe. I have no idea who made them because the label has worn off!

5. Most sentimental piece of jewelry and the story behind it? My best friend made me a beautiful custom pendant necklace with both of my toddler's artwork engraved on the pendants. They are just scribbles, but it captured them in this really precious and special time and I love this necklace so much. We are launching a line to help others capture their special moments through digital engraving later this year, inspired by this very special piece. I am so excited about that!

6. When I am not in the studio you can find me… Working....the life of an entrepreneur!

7. Food you can always eat? Ikura nigiri sushi. My favorite anytime, anywhere, always!

8. Sweet or savory? Savory.

9. Coffee order? I have recently gone caffeine free! It has been a challenge because I am an espresso lover…but now I take Beekeepers Naturals Brain Fuel and it is incredible. Has changed my life!

10. Guilty pleasure? The Kardashians. I love them and find them so entertaining.

11. Go-to cocktail? Something with passionfruit and fresh rosemary or herbs OR a nice chilled house red wine.

12. Favorite vacation? Anywhere in France or Italy with my family. My husband is from Paris so we spend a lot of time in France and lived there at one point. We take our kids there as much as we can to see his side of our family. My mom has ties to Italy so it is always a blast to go there with her. I cannot wait to get back there with her some day soon.

13. Favorite time of day? Golden hour.

14. What can you not live without? My family.

15. Go-to work out? VERY hot yoga. The best.

16. First tattoo? Roman numerals on my spine a la early 2000’s.

17. Favorite piece of art & why? I have so many it is so hard to choose a favorite! I love my mom's sculptures...they are some of my greatest sources of everyday inspiration and I love being surrounded by them in our homes and studios. There is truly nothing like her art. My husband's Granny is also a very talented artist. She has a phenomenal collection of black and white photographs that she has hand painted and they are extraordinary. Filters before filters...we have them all over our home and they are so beautiful.

18. What inspires you? My mom and my daughter. And wandering an antique shop—with both of them, added bonus!!!!

19. What do you love most about Colorado? The sky here is like no where else I have ever been. It is so expansive in the most magical way.

20. What else should we know about you? Jewelry has been a through line in my life since I was a little kid. I used to have a "store" called "The Lady Shoppe" where I would sell handmade jewelry and candles on my front lawn in Santa Monica when I was a young kid. I still use a lot of the same beads and tools today! Fun to see how far I have come since those early days. I am so grateful you are here if you are reading this!
