COFFEE & BREAKFAST
Campo Juice + Kitchen (RiNo) - Campo sources produce every day from local providers for their delicious juices. It’s one of our go-to’s for a quick and healthy breakfast before a hike or a big errand day.
Aviano (Cherry Creek) - We make sure to get to Cherry Creek early before opening the shop to get in line here. Despite there being two locations within a half a mile of each other, both Avianos are always bustling with locals in the morning.
Secret Garden Café (Cheesman Park) – This little spot by Cheesman Park is such a hidden gem! Grab coffee or brunch here and then stroll over to the Botanic Gardens. It makes for the perfect slow morning!
Moonflower Coffee (West Colfax) – Located on Colfax just south of Sloan’s Lake in an old gas station, Moonflower has great coffee and an awesome outdoor patio. You’ll want to linger with a book or hang out with friends on a sunny day.
Honey Hill Café (Park Hill) – This Park Hill café is super welcoming and cozy, with good coffee and food that makes it easy to spend an afternoon catching up or just relaxing.
Steam Espresso (LoHi) – A Denver staple with two convenient locations (Pearl St. and LoHi); the coffee is solid, and the vibe is super chill.
LeBelle Rosette (University Park) – A charming European-style café with excellent espresso drinks and pastries; it’s equally perfect for a quiet solo morning or chatting over cappuccinos with a friend.
EATS & TREATS
Linger (LoHi) - Located in one of Denver’s most walkable neighborhoods, this 19th century mortuary-turned-restaurant and rooftop lounge offers one of the most extensive menus in Denver. Share small plates inspired by global cuisine paired with equally eclectic cocktails.
Yummy Hot Pot (Val Verde) - Located off of Alameda in an unassuming building, Yummy is a reliable, family-owned hotpot staple. You HAVE to try their House Special sauce at the self-serve bar.
Feng Cha (Val Verde) - One of our designers jokes that Feng Cha “runs through her veins”. This shop stays true to the Taiwanese style of boba and the drinks are entirely customizable, from sweetness level to the amount of ice in your beverage.
Devil’s Food Bakery (Wash Park) – A Wash Park classic with retro charm where you can grab a strong coffee to go with delicious homemade pastries. We love to take a scone and coffee to go and stroll around the Old South Gaylord Street Shops.
DATE NIGHT
Alma Fonda Fina (LoHi) - Denver’s first Michelin-starred Mexican restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina is perfect for special occasions. Chef Johnny Curiel blends fonda traditions with refined technique and bold flavors. The avocado margarita is one of our favorites! Reservations book up quickly, so plan well in advance to secure your spot.
Uchi (RiNo) – This is a great spot for date night or a special occasion. The sushi is insanely fresh, and the atmosphere is buzzy and fun. Definitely a go-to for a night out when you want something special!
Matsuhisa (Cherry Creek) – We absolutely love Matsuhisa for date night or cocktails. Here you can find Japanese dishes with Peruvian influences. We adore the black cod with miso and yellowtail jalapeño and the sleek, sophisticated atmosphere.
UNCLE (LoHi + Wash Park) - If you want an elevated dining experience at an incredible price point and love Japanese-inspired cuisine, we cannot recommend UNCLE enough. Both locations keep their menus fresh based on what’s in season and are always coming up with creative and delicious cocktails.
Fish N' Beer (RiNo) – A RiNo favorite for seafood lovers! We love their wood-fired grill, rotating oyster selection.
Angelo’s Taverna (Capitol Hill) – A Capitol Hill staple mixing Italian comfort food with fresh oysters (can you tell we love oysters?); it’s cozy, affordable, and one of the best happy hours in town.
ChoLon (Downtown) – Modern Asian dining with a twist; their soup dumplings are incredible, and the menu is so creative. It’s perfect for sharing plates and trying something different.
COCKTAILS
ESP HiFi (Broadway) - This is a listening-bar in Denver inspired by Japanese kissa/jazz-kissa culture. The atmosphere, sound system, and natural wines are all tuned to let you slow down, listen and soak up the moment.
Lady Jane (LoHi) - Just down the street from UNCLE in LoHi, this cocktail bar provides a design-forward space with a seasonal drink menu that’s always on point. We love kicking off happy hour here or winding down with a late-night, after-dinner cocktail.
The Tartarian (Tennyson) - We love this contemporary neighborhood cocktail bar in Tennyson that blends mid-modern design and creative drinks that are so pretty they’re works of art in themselves!
Don’s Club Tavern (Capitol Hill) - Don’s is one of Denver’s classic dive bars; an old-school spot with vinyl booths, paneled walls, a rattly pool table, cold beers, and a real “come as you are” vibe. The perfect go-to if you want cheap drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.
Lakeview Lounge (Sloan’s Lake) - This cash-only dive bar in Edgewater has killer views of Sloan’s Lake and a back room with two pool tables that regulars line up to play on. Don’t be shy to put down a quarter for your turn, but take it seriously, because folks here play like there’s honor on the line.

Edgewater Public Market (Sloan’s Lake) – As a small business, we love strolling through the businesses at Edgewater Public Market, which range from global food to an independent chocolate shop, a brewery, boutiques, and so much more. It’s a great place to hang and grab lunch after a walk around Sloan’s Lake.
ARTS & CULTURE
Denver Art Museum (Capitol Hill) - The crown jewel of Denver’s art scene, with world-class rotating exhibitions and a stunning permanent collection.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Morrison, CO) – This one goes without saying, but this wouldn’t be a Denver guide without Red Rocks.
