This program is at the heart of what we do: transforming old treasures into new works of art that you’ll reach for every single day. What began years ago as a conversation during a permanent jewelry session, when a client asked us to reset her grandmother’s diamond earrings into a bezel link for a LOVE SARO custom chain, has blossomed into a collection of precious memories. Each redesign reflects the evolution we’ve shared with our clients, captured in a growing portfolio of custom projects.
One of our favorite recent redesigns to date was for our co-founder, Carol. She had a large pear-shaped topaz ring, prong set in a style that didn’t quite feel like her and something that she hadn’t worn in years. Together, we reimagined it into an ocean-inspired piece that feels like her through and through.
We set the topaz in an artfully architectural bezel she loves and paired it with a round champagne natural diamond, cradled in a spire shell–inspired frame that catches the light from every angle. Curved lines ripple through the band, echoing the movement of the sea. Walking alongside Carol through each stage - conceptualizing, designing, sketching, refining, and finally presenting her with the renewed life of this piece - is an experience I will always treasure.
