Citrine in Ancient Practices
For thousands of years, cultures across the globe have meditated and healed with this ancient stone. Ancient Romans used Citrine for protection and as a talisman for good fortune, while in Chinese feng shui, yellow and golden stones symbolize wealth and prosperity. The Greeks often carved citrine into intaglios and seals because the stone was believed to impart strength and courage.
Why We Use Citrine
Walk into our studios, and you’ll see citrine everywhere: large cathedrals adorning our welding stations, small pocket stones for clients to take home, and, of course, as handset, all-natural stones you can add to your custom piece. It’s as close as we can get to bottling up the feeling and energy sunshine imbues to all life!
While most of the Citrine you’ll find on the market is actually heat-treated Amethyst, we only use naturally occurring Citrine because of its powerful frequency and ability to tap into your Solar Plexus (3rd Chakra).
How We Use Citrine
We use Citrine both as a design element and a grounding tool. In the studio, we often keep a Citrine cluster near our welding stations to spark creativity and encourage flow when clients are creating or adapting their pieces. It’s our go-to stone for clearing energetic noise and allowing new ideas to come through.
We also love pairing Citrine with other stones in our pieces. While there’s no one answer, different combinations bring out a different energetic frequency.
