While we don’t formally advertise this offering, it’s found its way through our community by word of mouth. From mothers, partners, friends, and healers who’ve entrusted us to create a lasting talisman for someone they’ve lost. Whether it’s a miscarriage, a child, a parent, a pet, or a lifelong friend, these sessions are rooted in remembrance, transformation, and love...a way to hold their energy close in a tangible, enduring form.
A Creative Ceremony for Grief
We often refer to these experiences as In-Memory Creation Sessions, though these sessions can look different for everyone. For some, it’s a quiet reflection over tea and candlelight. For others, it’s a conversation through tears, stories, and shared laughter. Sometimes, it’s simply sitting in silence as we weld gold links together in their honor.
Like a memorial tattoo, this process is deeply symbolic and permanent, but with an heirloom evolution. Crafted in solid gold and natural gemstones, your piece grows with you over time, gaining meaning as you heal and value as it’s passed down through generations.
Ways to Personalize Your In-Memory Creation
Like all of our LOVE SARO designs, every in-memory creation is completely bespoke and unique to you and the story you want to hold close. Some ways we've personalized these pieces include:
- Engraving personal handwriting or initials from a note or card
- Honoring numerology or significant dates, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or angel numbers
- Embedding ashes or other symbolic materials into gemstones (a longer, more involved process that requires extra time and care, but is possible).
- Choosing stones symbolically as a birthstone or because they carry a similar energy of your loved one
- Choosing stones for their metaphysical properties, such as Labradorite for strength through transition, or Tanzanite for thinning the veil with the spiritual world and aiding in lucid dreaming to connect with your loved one. We also love Amethyst and Smokey Quartz as stones that aid in groundedness and helping with anxiety and depression.
- Including ritual or intention, such as a Palo Santo clearing, card pull, or guided meditation within the session
Each detail tells a piece of the story, and together, those stories become part of the healing journey.
What to Know About Scheduling Your In-Memory Session
These sessions are some of the most intimate work we do, and we honor that privacy fully. You can choose to:
- Create virtually, from anywhere in the world, through a guided session over video, where we walk you through every design decision, stone, and engraving as if you were sitting beside us.
- Meet us in studio, in Boulder or Denver, for a private or semi-private session. We can fully privatize the space, close the studio to the public, and hold time exclusively for you.
- Request an on-location session, for unique or sensitive circumstances where coming to us isn’t possible. When appropriate, we can travel to your home or meaningful space to co-create in person.
Every experience is adapted to your comfort level, energetically, emotionally, and logistically.
